Qatar is delaying the opening of New Doha International Airport until the second half of next year, after the operator dropped a “key contractor” from the project, The Moodie Report said, citing Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways chief executive officer.
The airport was originally scheduled to open in December this year, the online newsletter reported, adding that the contractor wasn’t identified.
