Italian Fuel Demand Dropped 5.1% in July, Ministry Data Show

Italian fuel demand dropped 5.1 percent to 5.84 million metric tons in July versus a year earlier, according to data from the Ministry of Economic Development.

The country’s gasoline consumption fell 6.7 percent to 784,000 tons while diesel and gasoil use decreased 4 percent to 2.4 million tons, the data show.
