Egypt Aims to Boost Chinese Investment to $3 Billion, Ahram Says

Egypt is hoping to boost Chinese investment to $3 billion from the current $500 million, said Hassan Malek, head of a business delegation visiting China with President Mohamed Mursi, according to Al-Ahram newspaper.

Industry and Foreign Trade Minister Hatem Saleh said Egypt aimed to sign eight agreements between the two nations, while Investment Minister Osama Saleh said Egypt will offer investment projects in agriculture, tourism and infrastructure, the state- run newspaper reported.
