U.S. Exporters Sell Soybeans to China, Unknown Destinations

U.S. exporters reported sales of 165,000 metric tons of soybeans and 55,000 tons of soybean oil to China, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said today in a statement.

Of the soybean oil, 36,000 tons are for delivery before Sept. 30 and 19,000 tons are for delivery in the 12 months starting Oct. 1.

Exporters also reported sales of 202,000 ton of soybeans to unknown destinations.

Both soybean sales are for delivery in the 12 months starting Sept. 1.

Shippers must report any export transaction of 100,000 tons or more for any commodity sold in one day to a single destination.
