A car-bomb explosion in southeastern Turkey killed at least eight people and wounded as many as 50, the Associated Press reported, citing Turkey’s NTV television.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion near a police station in Gaziantep, a city near the Syrian border in a region where Kurdish rebels have been active, the AP said.
