FTSE 100 Chiefs’ Salary Growth Slows as Bonuses Shrink, FT Says

Growth in salaries paid to chief executives from FTSE 100 companies slowed in 2011 by an average of 14 percent, to 3 million pounds ($4.7 million), as bonus payments shrank, the Financial Times said.

The median rise was 8.5 percent while bonuses were 2 percent lower, at 669,000 pounds, according to the paper, citing research group Incomes Data Services.
