Chavez Says He’s Approved $300 Mln for Venezuelan Power Projects

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, speaking on state television from a campaign rally in Bolivar state, said he had approved $300 million for electricity projects in the state.

The projects include a power transmission line from Guri to Ciudad Bolivar, the state capital, and three power substations in the city, Chavez said.
