Jordan Picks Local Companies to Import Iraqi Crude, Petra Says

Jordan selected two local companies to transport 10,000 barrels of crude a day from Iraq to its refinery in Zarqa, the official news agency Petra reported.

The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry will sign contracts this month with Amman-based Zoubi and Dhiabat to transport crude from Iraq’s oil hub in Kirkuk to the refinery by truck, the news agency said, citing an unidentified ministry official.
