Arab Bank (ARBK) Plc Chairman Abdul Hamid Shoman resigned today, the bank said in an e-mailed statement.

“It is unfortunate that we confirm the resignation of Shoman from the bank’s board of directors,” Sabih Masri, the bank’s deputy chairman, said in the statement. It was Shoman’s personal decision to resign, Masri said.
