Iran’s President to Participate in Saudi Arabia Summit: Al Alam

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad plans to reach Saudi Arabia today to participate in the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the state-run Al Alam television reported, citing Mohamed Furqani, the head of international affairs at the presidential office.

The meeting of the 57-member organization is taking place in the Muslim holy city of Mecca on Aug. 14-15, the television report said.
