U.S. Exim Bank to Lend South Africa $2 Billion for Clean Energy

The U.S. Export-Import Bank signed an agreement to lend South Africa’s Industrial Development Corp. $2 billion to fund clean-energy projects, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said.

Economic growth in South Africa benefits the rest of the continent, Clinton told reporters in Pretoria, South Africa’s capital, today.
