Aflac’s Kirsch Hires Sasaki as Japan Chief Investment Officer

Aflac Inc. (AFL:US), the largest seller of supplemental health insurance, hired Issei Sasaki as chief investment officer of the company’s Japan operation.

Sasaki, who previously worked in Tokyo for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. will report to Tohru Tonoike, the president of Aflac Japan, and to Eric Kirsch, the chief investment officer, Columbus, Georgia-based Aflac said in a statement distributed by PR Newswire.
