Bangladesh’s Inflation Slows to 8.03% in July, Official Says

Bangladesh’s annual inflation rate slowed to 8.03 percent last month from 8.56 percent in June, Golam Mostafa Kamal, director general of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, said today.

Food inflation was 6.3 percent in July, compared with 7.08 percent in June, Kamal told reporters in Dhaka. Non-food inflation decelerated to 11.54 percent from 11.72 percent.
