UniCredit, Intesa Among 13 Italian Banks Cut by Moody’s

UniCredit SpA (UCG) and Intesa Sanpaolo SpA (ISP) had their credit grades affirmed by Standard & Poor’s as the ratings company downgraded 15 smaller lenders.

UniCredit, Italy’s biggest bank, and Intesa, the nation’s second-largest, were among 15 companies whose ratings weren’t changed in a review of 32 firms, S&P said today in a statement.
