Deposits at Ireland’s government- guaranteed banks rose by 0.4 percent to 153 billion euros ($188 billion) in June, the Finance Ministry said.
The increase of 600 million euros follows an addition of 900 million euros in May and takes the increase this year to 5.8 billion euros, the ministry in Dublin said in a statement today. Deposits have risen by about 13 billion euros from a low in 2011 of 140 billion euros, it said.
