Aeroflot June Passenger Volumes Rise 19% on Year

OAO Aeroflot, Russia’s largest airline, said passenger volumes rose 19 percent in June from the same month last year.

Aeroflot carried 7.9 million passengers in the first half of the year, 27 percent more than in the same period last year, the Moscow-based company said in an e-mailed statement today. That includes a 25 percent increase in June, to 1.6 million, according to the statement.
