Formula One Chief Executive Officer Bernie Ecclestone is interested in buying the Nuerburgring auto track in Germany, Ludwigshafen-based Die Rheinpfalz reported, citing an interview.
Ecclestone declined to comment on conditions or pricing for a purchase, the newspaper said. The executive is not prepared to organize a Formula One race on the track at his own expense, the newspaper cited him as saying.
