Sakhalin Energy Said to Sell Vityaz Crude at $4 to $4.10 Premium

Sakhalin Energy Investment Co. sold one cargo of Vityaz Blend crude for September loading at a premium of $4 to $4.10 a barrel above Dubai prices to a Chinese oil company, said two traders who participate in the market, asking not to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media.

Details of the deal are as follows:

Crude:         Vityaz Blend (Russia)
Quantity:      730,000 barrels
Price:         Premium of $4 to $4.10 to Platts Dubai,
               cost-and-freight basis (C.F.R.)
Loading:       Sept. 21 to Sept. 28
