U.S. to Provide Jordan With $100 Million Grant, Minister Says

The U.S. will provide Jordan with an additional $100 million grant to support this year’s state budget, the state-run Petra news agency reported, citing Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Jafar Hassan.

The grant agreement is expected to be signed before August this year, the minister said.

U.S. assistance to Jordan this year is expected to reach $470 million, the minister said.
