South African Bus Accident Kills 16, Injures 31, SAPA Reports

A collision between two buses traveling on a road between the towns of Cradock and Graaf- Reinet in southeastern South Africa claimed the lives of 16 people, the South Africa Press Association reported, citing Tshepo Machaea, a spokesman for the road safety campaign, Arrive Alive.

Four people were badly hurt in the crash, while 27 sustained minor injuries, Machaea said, according to the Johannesburg-based news agency.
