Germans Reject Aid for Spain, ARD Television Says, Citing Poll

Fifty-two percent of Germans are against Spain receiving aid from the euro region financial backstops, while 38 percent approve of the planned rescue, ARD public television said on its Internet site, citing a poll it commissioned from Infratest dimap.

ARD said Infratest interviewed 1,000 people between July 17 and July 18. The margin of error was 3.1 percentage points, it said.
