Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index (XU100) fell for a second day, declining less than 0.1 percent to 62,444.93 at the close in Istanbul.

Banvit Bandirma Vitaminli Yem Sanayii AS (BANVT) , a Turkish poultry producer, climbed for a second day, adding 0.5 percent to 4.14 liras. The company purchased a poultry complex in the eastern province of Elazig for 12.3 million liras ($6.8 million), it said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange after the market closed yesterday.
Netas Telekomunikasyon AS (NETAS) , an Istanbul-based maker of telecommunications equipment, plunged 14 percent to 147 liras, the steepest drop in more than 3 1/2 years, after one of its owners put up shares for sale. Oep Rhea Turkey Tech BV, which controls 3.15 million shares in Netas, or a 48.6 percent stake, registered 744,123 shares for sale, according to a regulatory filing from owner Rhea Girism Sermayesi Ortakligi AS after the market closed yesterday. Oep Rhea also recorded 366,684 Netas shares for sale on May 4.
