Hungary Stocks: OTP Bank, Est Media Move in Budapest Trading

The benchmark BUX (BUX) index climbed for a fourth day, adding 0.3 percent to 17,332.33 by the close in Budapest.

The following were among the most active shares in the Hungarian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.

OTP Bank Nyrt. (OTP) Hungary’s largest lender, rose 0.5 percent to 3,470 forint. European stocks advanced for the third time in four days after lenders including Credit Suisse Group AG reported profits that beat estimates, while minutes showed the Bank of England may reconsider the case for an interest-rate cut.

Est Media Vagyonkezelo Nyrt. (ESTMEDIA HB), a Hungarian entertainment company, fell the most in three months after agreeing to sell a stake in the country’s biggest outdoor festival to its minority owners. The shares dropped 15 percent to 23 forint.
