Peru Stocks: Buenaventura, Candente, Panoro, Trevali

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trade in Lima.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 0.2 percent to 20,033.85. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index slid 0.1 percent to 2,695.12.

Trevali Mining Corp. (TV) , a Canadian zinc and silver producer with operations in Peru, dropped 4.8 percent to 80 cents after zinc declined in London.

Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, slumped 3.6 percent to 53 cents. Shares fell after copper declined in New York, said Estefany Castillo, an analyst at Scotiabank Peru.

Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, decreased 1.6 percent to 63 cents.

Luna Gold Corp. (LGC) , a Canadian gold explorer, slumped 6.3 percent to $1.92 after gold declined in New York.

Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN:US) (BVN PE), the country’s biggest precious-metals miner, slid 1.4 percent to $36.49.
