Kazakhstan Faces ‘Alarming’ Drought in Grain Areas, Kaztag Says

Kazakhstan faces an “alarming” drought in grain growing regions, Kaztag reported, citing Deputy Agriculture Minister Muslim Umiryayev.

Kazakhstan may export 10 million metric tons of grain this marketing year that started July 1, Umiryayev said, according to the news service.
