Polish Stocks: Azoty Tarnow, KGHM Polska Miedz, Pulawy Active

Poland’s WIG20 Index (WIG20) dropped less than 0.1 percent to 2,190.00 at 10:16 a.m. in Warsaw.

The following are among the most active stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.

KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGH) , the country’s only copper miner, slid 0.4 percent to 117.5 zloty as the metal declined after China’s premier said that the momentum for a recovery in economic growth isn’t yet in place, increasing speculation demand may decline in the world’s largest user.

Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy SA (ZAP) , the nation’s second- biggest fertilizer maker, rose 0.7 percent to 104.5 zloty, climbing for a fifth day after Azoty Tarnow (ATT PW) announced a public bid to buy 32 percent in the company at 110 zloty a share. Azoty advanced 1.2 percent to 38.45 zloty.
