Peru Stocks: Candente, Cerro Verde, Sulliden, Rio Alto

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trade in Lima.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 0.2 percent to 20,067.35. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index slid 0.2 percent to 2,697.27.

Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, dropped 1.8 percent to 55 cents after copper declined in New York.

Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, fell 1.5 percent to 64 cents.

Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde SA (CVERDEC1 PE), a unit of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., slid 1.1 percent to $36.60.

Sulliden Gold Corp Ltd. (SUE) , a gold exploration company, rallied 3.8 percent to $1.08. The stock advanced as gold increased in New York earlier in the day, said Angel Alcala, a trader at Juan Magot y Asociados SAB in Lima.

Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO) , a Canadian gold miner, gained 1.9 percent to $4.19.
