Rare 8-Carat Pink Diamond Unveiled in Australia

July 13 (Bloomberg) -- Visitors to the Melbourne Museum in Australia can now catch a glimpse of a rare gem. One of the country's largest discovered pink diamonds has gone on display there. The eight carat rock was found in a mine last year and was donated by owner Rio Tinto. The diamond was originally destined for sale, but could only be partially cut and polished. (Source: Bloomberg)
