Peru Stocks: Candente, Ferreyros, Maple, Panoro, Sulliden

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trade in Lima.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) rose for the first time in eight days, gaining 0.8 percent to 20,107.13. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 1.3 percent to 2,703.18.

Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, jumped 5.7 percent to 56 cents after copper and U.S. stocks advanced, said Estefany Castillo, an analyst at Scotiabank Peru.

Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, rose 3.2 percent to 65 cents.

Sulliden Gold Corp Ltd. (SUE) , a gold exploration company, gained 2 percent to $1.04 after gold rose in New York.

Maple Energy Plc (MPLE) , the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, advanced 2 percent to $1.02 as crude rose for a third day in New York.

Ferreyros SA (FERREYC1) (FERREYC1 PE), the Lima-based distributor for Caterpillar Inc., gained 1.4 percent to 2.24 soles after Inteligo SAB analyst Alessandra Bazan reiterated a buy rating for the stock.
