Mexico’s coffee exports gained 9 percent in June, the country’s coffee growers association said in a report today.
Mexican coffee exports rose to 321,131 bags of coffee last month, the group known as Amecafe, said today in an e-mailed statement. Mexico exported 294,473 bags in the previous-year period, the association said.
Arabica coffee for September delivery advanced 0.8 percent to $1.8355 a pound at 11:32 a.m. on ICE Futures U.S. in New York.
A bag of coffee weighs 60 kilograms (132 pounds).
