Two Saudi Arabian women athletes will take part in the London 2012 games, the International Olympic Committee said on its website.

Sarah Attar will run in the 800 meters and Wodjan Ali Seraj Abdulrahim Shahrkhani is to take part in the judo event.

Saudi Arabia has previously sent all-male teams to the Olympics.
