Ghana will invest $630 million from June next year to cultivate 10,000 hectares of oil palm as it seeks to meet growing international demand for the crop, Daily Graphic reported, citing Kwesi Ahwoi, the agriculture minister.
The farms and a processing mill will be located in the country’s Western Region, the Accra-based newspaper cited Ahwoi as saying.
