U.K. Stocks Advance as Manufacturing Unexpectedly Gains

U.K stocks advanced after a report showed manufacturing unexpectedly surged the most in a year in May.

The FTSE 100 Index added 24.75 points, or 0.4 percent, to 5,652.08 at 9:44 a.m. in London. The broader FTSE All-Share Index rose 0.5 percent today, while Ireland’s ISEQ Index added 0.3 percent.
