Citigroup Adds 4 Managing Directors to Technology Group

July 10, 2012

Citigroup Inc. (C:US), the third-biggest U.S. lender, hired four managing directors for its technology investment-banking group.

Jon Krahulik, Herb Yeh and Sean Rogers will join the New York-based company from Bank of America Corp. (BAC:US), and Ethan Zweig was hired from Credit Suisse Group AG (CSGN), according to an internal memo obtained by Bloomberg and confirmed by Mark Costiglio, a Citigroup spokesman.

Krahulik, who most recently covered the clean-tech industry, joined Citigroup last month and is based in Palo Alto, California. He is focusing on semiconductors, according to the memo, which was sent by Ethan Topper, the firm’s global head of technology corporate and investment banking.

Yeh, who started last month in New York, will work with large-cap technology clients, as in his previous role.

Zweig, who most recently was co-head of the technology mergers and acquisitions group at Zurich-based Credit Suisse, will be based in San Francisco.

Rogers was previously head of technology for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Charlotte, North Carolina-based Bank of America. He will be based in New York for Citigroup and focus on communications equipment.
