CEZ Offers to Sell Coal-Power Plant to End EU Antitrust Probe

CEZ AS (CEZ), the Czech Republic’s largest power producer, offered to sell a coal-power plant to end a European Union antitrust probe over hindering rivals.

“CEZ offered to divest one of the following generation assets in the Czech Republic: Pocerady, Chvaletice, Detmarovice or Melnik III together with Tisova,” the European Commission said in an e-mailed statement.
