Barclays’ Agius Says Diamond Quit After Losing Regulator Support

Barclays Plc (BARC) Chairman Marcus Agius said former Chief Executive Officer Robert Diamond resigned because it “became clear” he had lost the support of regulators.

Agius was questioned by British lawmakers in the House of Commons Treasury Select Committee today.
