This Stunning Mars Close-Up Took Six Months to Make

NASA's Mars rover, Opportunity, has collected 817 images of Greeley Haven, a crater on the Red Planet. Taken over the course of six months during the Mars winter from December through May, the images were put together by NASA as a panorama to give a close-up view of the largest Martian crater the rover has visited in its five years on the planet.
