Four U.K. water companies are ending restrictions on the resource use after recent heavy rains, the National Farmers Union said.
South East Water, Sutton and East Surrey Water, Veolia Water Central and Veolia Water Southeast have lifted bans on outdoor watering, the NFU said today on its website. All four companies confirmed ending the hosepipe bans on their websites. Three other companies, Thames Water, Anglian Water and Southern Water, lifted similar restrictions in June, according to the U.K. Environment Agency.
