Banco do Brasil to Spend $27 Billion on Agriculture

Banco do Brasil SA plans to spend a record 55 billion reais ($27 billion) to finance agriculture for the 2012 to 2013 season, according to an official statement distributed today in Brasilia. The amount represents a 14.2 percent increase compared with last season’s agriculture credit of 48.2 billion reais.
