Germany’s labor union Ver.di said the insolvent retail-drug store chain Schlecker can be saved if the government vouches for the stores and suitable suppliers can be found, Stuttgarter Zeitung reports, citing an interview with Leni Breymaier, who is responsible in Baden-Wuerttemberg for the union.
