The benchmark BUX (BUX) index fell 0.5 percent to 17,311.96 by the close in Budapest.

The following were among the most active shares in the Hungarian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.

OTP Bank Nyrt. (OTP) , Hungary’s largest lender, fell 1.3 percent to 3,561 forint. The country’s central bank warned the government may miss revenue targets on a proposed financial transaction tax. European stocks retreated as European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said downside risks to the economy remain.

Est Media Vagyonkezelo Nyrt. (ESTMEDIA HB), a Hungarian entertainment company, fell 13 percent to 28 forint, a record low. The company slid 14 percent yesterday after saying it offered to sell a stake in Hungary’s biggest outdoor music festival following a failed bond.
