Germany Halts Plan to Send Tax Officials to Greece, Bild Reports

Germany has halted a plan to send as many as 165 tax officials to Greece to bolster tax collection, Bild reports today, citing unidentified people in the Finance Ministry and government.

Greek officials weren’t interested in help from Germany and saw it as meddling, the newspaper said.
