The following were among the most active shares in the Hungarian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.
Mol Nyrt. (MOL) , Hungary’s largest refiner, dropped 0.6 percent to 16,600 forint. Brent oil futures retreated from the highest close in more than a month on speculation that this week’s gains have been excessive amid concern that a global economic slowdown may curb demand.
Est Media Vagyonkezelo Nyrt. (ESTMEDIA HB), a Hungarian entertainment company, fell 14 percent to 32 forint, a record low. The company offered to sell a stake in Hungary’s biggest outdoor music festival after failing to attract enough bids for a bond.
