Libya Asks Mauritania to Extradite Qaddafi Intelligence Chief

Libya’s National Transitional Council asked Mauritania to extradite Abdullah al-Senussi, the head of intelligence services in Muammar Qaddafi’s government, Saharamedias reported, without citing anyone.

Mustafa Abdel Jalil, chairman of the NTC, said Al-Senussi will receive a just trial in Libya, the private online news site reported. Al-Senussi was arrested by Mauritanian police in Nouakchott, the North African nation’s capital, on March 17, it said.
