Argentines’ confidence in their government fell 7 percent in June from May and declined 13 percent from a year earlier, according to a poll released today by Buenos Aires-based Torcuato Di Tella University.

The confidence index fell to 1.99 on a scale of zero to five, the survey of 1,200 people showed.

The survey, conducted by Poliarquia Consultores on behalf of the Buenos Aires-based university from June 1 to June 12, had a margin of error of 3.2 percentage points.
