Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne said he is looking at whether there “is a gap in the criminal regime” as he pledged to ensure there are powers to deal with banks over the manipulation of Libor.
Osborne said he couldn’t comment on whether any criminal investigation would take place against Barclays Plc’s management. He was speaking to lawmakers in London today.
