Heavy Rain in South China Affects 2.48 Million, Xinhua Reports

A total of 2.48 million people have been affected by heavy rain in southern China, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing flood control authorities.

The rain has caused damage in seven provinces, including Hunan, Guizhou, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Guangdong and Anhui, the official news agency said.
