India’s Crude Oil Output Rose 0.5% to 3.2 Million Tons in May

India’s crude oil production rose 0.5 percent to 3.2 million metric tons in May, the oil ministry said.

Output by Oil & Natural Gas Corp., the nation’s biggest exploration company, fell 4.1 percent to 1.9 million tons, the ministry said in an e-mailed statement today. The nation’s natural gas production dropped 10.8 percent to 3.7 billion cubic meters, according to the ministry.
