Italian and Spanish government bonds fell and German bunds pared a decline.
The yield on 10-year Italian bonds increased seven basis points, or 0.07 percentage point, to 6.08 percent at 8:18 a.m. London time. Yields on similar-maturity Spanish debt also climbed seven basis points, to 6.71 percent.
Germany’s bund yield was two basis points higher at 1.48 percent after climbing as much as four basis points.
