Hungary Stocks: OTP Bank, Oil Refiner Mol Move Budapest Trade

The benchmark BUX (BUX) index rose 0.5 percent to 16,992.91 by 10:04 a.m. in Budapest, a second day of gains.

The following were among the most active shares in the Hungarian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.

Mol Nyrt. (MOL) , Hungary’s largest refiner, gained for a second day amid speculation China will introduce additional economic stimulus, boosting appetite for riskier emerging-market assets. The shares jumped 1.5 percent to 16,040 forint.

OTP Bank Nyrt. (OTP) , Hungary’s largest lender, advanced 0.4 percent to 3,415 forint before a scheduled meeting of European leaders tomorrow to tackle the euro area’s debt crisis.
